SMS & Messaging Policy
FormVidya sends SMS only after you actively request it. We use text messages for one purpose: delivering a one-time passcode you asked for — when you create an account, when you sign in with your phone number, when you verify your number on the professional portal, or when you confirm a sensitive account action such as deleting your account. We do not send marketing texts, and we never add a number to a list you did not opt into yourself.
How you opt in
In the FormVidya mobile app, a phone number is required to create an account — it is how we verify a new account is real. Signing in again does not require it: Google, Apple, email and phone are all offered. On the professional portal (pro.formvidya.com) an email link is enough to start, and a phone number is only needed to list a public profile. Either way, the number is one you type yourself, one at a time. There is no pre-checked box, no purchased list, and no imported contacts.
What you agree to, word for word
The flow
- You choose Sign in with phone — one of several sign-in options.
- You enter your own mobile number.
- The consent text above is shown beneath the field, before you act on it.
- You tap Send Code. That deliberate tap is the opt-in. Nothing is pre-selected, and no message is sent until you tap it.
- A single one-time passcode is sent to the number you typed.
Message frequency: one message per sign-in or account action that you initiate. There is no recurring campaign and no promotional messaging.
Standard rates: message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.

What messages will I receive?
- Account verification codes — One-time passcodes (OTP) to verify your phone number during registration or sign-in
- Authentication messages — Security codes for secure account access
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your use of the app. Verification and authentication messages are sent only when you initiate a sign-in or account action. You will not receive marketing or promotional text messages.
Message and data rates
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. FormVidya is not responsible for any charges incurred from your carrier for receiving SMS messages.
How to opt out
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any SMS message from FormVidya
- Contacting us at support@formvidya.com
Opting out of SMS may affect your ability to use phone-based authentication. For help, email support@formvidya.com.
Delivery
Delivery depends on your mobile carrier. Carriers may delay, filter or fail to deliver messages, and are not liable when they do.
Your phone number and privacy
We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number is shared only with our SMS service provider (Twilio) solely for the purpose of delivering messages to you. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
